The rules for working with the Open Government portals of Kazakhstan are being clarified to Civil servants

“National Information Technologies” JSC in cooperation with the Ministry for information and communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan is conducting the training activities related to the work with the portals of the Open Government of Kazakhstan.

As part of the training the civil servants get explanations on how to work with the component-portals of the Open Government (such as Open Data https://data.egov.kz/, Open RLA https://legalacts.egov.kz/, and Open Budgetshttps://budget.egov.kz/), how to place the information on them, and also how to conduct the further work on monitoring and reacting to the user comments.

It should be noted, that with the adoption of the Laws “On the access to information” and “On informatization”, the state bodies have determined the officials responsible for the placement of information on the component-portals of the Open Government. Those officials receive the special training, which includes the theoretical and practical classes on the automated desktop place (ADP), video lessons, written guidelines, and the consultations via the videoconferences.

The employees of both the central and the local executive bodies receive the training. Up to this day, more than 600 servants successfully accomplished the trainings.

Moreover, the Open Government portal trainings are held in accordance with the “Effective mechanisms and the guarantees of the accountability and transparency of the state administration in the Republic of Kazakhstan” program, which is conducted by the National commission on modernization and NGOs.

The Open Government is being established in Kazakhstan within the framework of the Nation’s Plan – 100 concrete steps for the realization of the five institutional reforms of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
