The best open data-based project chosen in Tech Garden Cup Hackathon

Aidos Amanbai was awarded for the use of open data in agricultural web-portal developed by him under Tech Garden Cup Hackathon that took place on September 16-17 in Almaty.

The portal is aimed at facilitating communication between farmers and government agencies, organizations, financial institutions as well as scientific community and business sector. In his project, Aidos Amanbai used the following data of Ministry for Agriculture and regions` akimats: the list of public services for agriculture and veterinary management; data on companies manufacturing fruit and vegetable products; data on agroindustrial sector facilities; the list of peasant households and farms; contact details of district`s and city`s veterinary stations, etc.
