The Roundtable on “Open Data in the Field of Transport” was held in Astana, hosted by National Information Technologies JSC with participation of Transport Committee under Ministry for Investments and Development, Republic of Kazakhstan.
Laura Manley, representative of American company “Center for Open Data Enterprise” has published information in its blog concerning roundtable discussions on Open Data for private sector that took place in Astana.
Representatives from private and non-governmental sectors in the field of healthcare suggested making publicly available the list of all hospitals, out-patient clinics, and injury care centers with bound address data and doctors database with their qualification indicated. This and other issues were discussed at the round-table discussions: “Open Data for Healthcare”.
The next regular Open Data Roundtable will be held on June 29, 2015 in National Information Technologies JSC premises. The event will gather on one platform the experts from Ministry of Health and Social Development and the members of healthcare private sector.
To full-fledged development of business, the accessibility of open data is essential. This will henceforth bring use both to government and to citizens.
