Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with "National Infocommunication Holding "Zerde" JSC participated by the international business accelerator Happy Farm on November 12, 2015, in Astana, Palace of Independence under the large scale technological Forum Techconnect.tech plan to held ASTEX-2015 conference on the theme "Big and open data in management".

In Astana, the next regular roundtable on open data was held. This time, the event’s hosts – National Information Technologies JSC – invited representatives from the capital city’s housing & utilities sector: Utilities Administration, Housing Inspection Administration of Astana, AstanaEnergyService, Astana REC, Gazcentr, Astana Su Arnassy, Astana–Teplotransit, Astana–Tazalyk and others.

The best mobile applications based on Open Data have been chosen on Tech Garden Festival that took place in Almaty on 24-26th of September.

Laura Manley, representative of American company “Center for Open Data Enterprise” has published information in its blog concerning roundtable discussions on Open Data for private sector that took place in Astana.

Representatives from private and non-governmental sectors in the field of healthcare suggested making publicly available the list of all hospitals, out-patient clinics, and injury care centers with bound address data and doctors database with their qualification indicated. This and other issues were discussed at the round-table discussions: “Open Data for Healthcare”.

The next regular Open Data Roundtable will be held on June 29, 2015 in National Information Technologies JSC premises. The event will gather on one platform the experts from Ministry of Health and Social Development and the members of healthcare private sector.
