Today, results of the competition for development of mobile applications based on open data from data.egov.kz have been announced.

Over 1500 various datasets are available on the Open Data Portal of Kazakhstan (data.egov.kz).

The submission of the applications or the web-services developed on the basis of open data is currently going on and the reception of the projects is still taking place. The deadline for the submission is June 15, 2016.

Dates of competition for development of mobile application or web service-based data portal data.egov.kz are extended. The developed applications will be accepted till July 15, 2016.

“National Information Technologies” JSC in cooperation with the Ministry for information and communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan is conducting the training activities related to the work with the portals of the Open Government of Kazakhstan.

About 100 new data sets are published on the open data portal data.egov.kz since the beginning of this month. The published information is provided by a variety of the government agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, namely, the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Justice, Akimat of the South Kazakhstan Region, and so forth.
